I run social media for local service businesses, and I judge it on one thing: how many booked appointments, consultations or calls it produces each month. Followers and likes are useful signals. They are not the result you are paying for.
This service is built for med spas, dental practices, law firms and home service companies. The work is the same shape in each: content people actually stop for, a clear path from a post or a DM to a booking, and a monthly number that tells you whether it paid.
Why social still matters for a local business
Your customers are on these platforms every day. According to Pew Research Center’s 2025 survey, 84% of U.S. adults use YouTube, 71% use Facebook and 50% use Instagram. For a clinic or a firm, that is where people check you out after they hear your name, before they ever call.
So social does two jobs. It finds new people, and it reassures the people who already found you some other way.
Where most accounts leak
A client of mine has close to 93,000 Instagram followers and about 2,300 YouTube subscribers. Big audience. The problem was never reach. It was that almost nothing on the profile told a follower what to do next, or made booking easy from a phone.
That pattern is common. Busy accounts often lose the lead in one of three places:
- The bio link goes to a homepage instead of a booking page
- DMs asking about price sit unanswered for hours
- Nobody can tell which posts or ads produced the patients who actually came in
Fixing those usually does more for bookings in the first month than any new content idea.
What the service includes
| Part | What I do |
|---|---|
| Strategy | Pick the two platforms that fit your buyers and the offers worth promoting |
| Content | Short videos, carousels and posts built from your real work and your team |
| Publishing | A steady calendar, so the account never goes quiet for weeks |
| Inbox to booking | Reply templates and routing so price questions become booked calls |
| Paid social | Meta ads aimed at people near you, when the organic base is ready |
| Tracking | Links and UTMs so bookings can be traced back to the post or ad |
| Reporting | One monthly report: bookings, cost per booking and what to change next |
Ad spend is paid to the platform directly and is separate from my fee.
How the first 30 days go
Week one is an audit of your current accounts, your booking path and your tracking. By the end of it you will know where leads are leaking, even if you never hire me.
Weeks two and three set up the fixes: bio links, reply templates, tracking and a content plan built around the services you most want to sell. Week four is when regular publishing starts and the first numbers come in.
I would rather show you one honest month of results than promise a follower count.
Who this is for
It fits businesses that sell a service people book: treatments, consultations, estimates, appointments. It works best when you can send me real photos or short clips from your work, even rough ones from a phone.
It is a poor fit if you need viral reach for a product launch next week, or if nobody at the business can answer booking questions during the day.
Pricing
Social media is priced after a short call, because the right scope depends on how many platforms you need and whether paid ads are part of it. I will give you one monthly number in writing, with everything it includes, before you commit to anything.
If search is a bigger opportunity for you than social, my SEO services page explains how I approach that instead. If leads arrive but slip away before anyone replies, website automation is usually the faster fix.
Questions owners ask
Do I need to be on every platform? No. Most local businesses do better on two platforms done well than five done badly.
Will you use my own photos and videos? Yes, whenever possible. Real work from your business builds more trust than stock images.
How soon will I see bookings? The inbox and booking fixes can help within the first month. Content and ads usually take two to three months to show a clear trend.
Who writes the posts? I plan and produce them, and you approve anything before it goes live.
