Growth99 Alternative: How to Switch Without Losing Your Site

If you are looking for a Growth99 alternative, the first job is not picking a new vendor. It is finding out exactly what you own today, because Growth99 runs your website, marketing and lead follow-up inside one connected system. Leave in the wrong order and you can lose the site, the phone numbers your ads have trained patients to call, and months of rankings in the same week.

I run Sprout Sage Solutions and I work with med spas and aesthetic practices. This page is the order of operations I would use for any clinic leaving an all-in-one platform, written so you can do most of it yourself before you talk to anyone, including me.

What Growth99 actually is

Growth99 is a platform built for aesthetic practices rather than a general agency. According to its vendor listing on the American Med Spa Association site, it powers more than 1,000 aesthetic and elective wellness practices, and its system combines websites, SEO, paid media, marketing automation and AI lead response. The same listing notes that AmSpa members save 20% on its plans.

That integration is the selling point. It is also the reason leaving takes planning.

When your website, your forms, your booking follow-up and your reporting all live in one vendor’s system, each of those pieces has to be rebuilt or moved somewhere. Nothing about that is unusual. It just means you should not cancel first and figure it out after.

Settle ownership before you give notice

Earlier this month I reviewed an aesthetics clinic’s website and found that there was not one form anywhere on it. Every inquiry had to be a phone call during business hours. That has nothing to do with which vendor built the site. It is the kind of gap you only notice when you finally look at the site as a patient would, and the switch is the right moment to look.

Before you send a cancellation email, get written answers to these:

AssetWhat to confirmWhy it matters
Domain nameIt is registered in your practice’s name, and you have the registrar loginWithout it, nothing else moves
Website contentYou can export every page, image and blog postYour rankings are attached to that content
Google Business ProfileYou are the primary owner, not a managerYour map listing and reviews live here
Google Ads accountThe account is yours and the vendor is only a userYears of conversion data sit in it
Tracking phone numbersWhether you can port them or keep forwarding themOld ads and listings still show them
Analytics and Search ConsoleYou have admin access to bothYou need before and after numbers
Patient and lead dataYou can export leads, forms and follow-up historyThat list is your cheapest future revenue

I tell every owner who asks me about switching the same thing: get the domain login first. If that one is sorted, most of the rest is recoverable. If it is not, you are negotiating from a weak position.

For a longer version of this checklist, see who owns your website when you fire your agency.

Moving without losing rankings

The rankings do not belong to the vendor. They belong to your pages and the links pointing at them. Keep those pages alive at the same addresses, or redirect each old address to its closest new page, and Google treats it as the same site.

Here is the sequence:

  1. Crawl the current site and save a list of every URL, title and meta description.
  2. Pull your top pages from Search Console so you know which ones actually bring patients.
  3. Build the new site with the same URLs wherever possible.
  4. Map every URL that has to change to a specific new page. Never point them all at the homepage.
  5. Switch the domain only when the new site is finished, then submit the sitemap the same day.
  6. Keep the old tracking numbers forwarding for at least 90 days.

Most practices see a small wobble for two to four weeks after a move like this. A large drop almost always traces back to step 4 being skipped.

What a replacement should include

A med spa does not need more tools. It needs fewer places where a lead can fall through.

Whoever you pick next, ask them to show you, on your own numbers, how they will handle a missed call at 7pm on a Saturday. Then ask what a new patient costs you by channel today, and how they will report it monthly. If they cannot answer the second question, they are selling activity. Our med spa marketing page covers how I handle both.

Also read any new contract before you sign it. The clauses worth refusing are the same everywhere, and I listed them in marketing contract terms to refuse.

When you should stay

Staying is the right answer more often than people selling alternatives admit. If your cost per new patient is steady, you own your domain and ad account, and your front desk is actually working the leads, switching platforms mostly costs you three months of disruption.

Leave when the numbers are getting worse and nobody can explain why. Leave when you cannot get a straight answer about what you own.

Questions owners ask

Will I lose my Google reviews if I leave Growth99? No. Reviews are attached to your Google Business Profile, not your website vendor. Confirm you are the primary owner of that profile before you do anything else.

Can I keep my website design? Sometimes. If the site is built on a proprietary system, the design usually cannot be exported as working code, but the content, images and page structure can be rebuilt elsewhere.

How long does a switch take? Plan on four to eight weeks for a typical single-location med spa, most of it spent on content and redirects rather than design.
