CHEAPER THAN BLUE FROG · FOUNDER-LED SEO
Cheaper Than Blue Frog: Founder-Led SEO From $1,500/Mo Flat, No Contract
Blue Frog is a real agency. Per their site, June 2026, they are a Waukee, Iowa based Elite HubSpot Solutions Partner founded in 2009 and recently acquired by Avidly, a multi-time HubSpot Global Partner of the Year. They do serious HubSpot platform work for serious budgets, and for some companies they are the right call. For most owners who land on a page titled “cheaper than Blue Frog,” they are not. This page is the honest comparison: what Blue Frog actually does, what they actually cost (per their site, which publishes no pricing), where I genuinely beat them on price and fit, and the section most comparison pages refuse to write, when Blue Frog is the right call and I am not.

What Blue Frog actually is, per their own site
Before I claim to be cheaper than anyone, I think you deserve to know exactly what you would be giving up. So here is what Blue Frog says about Blue Frog, sourced only from bluefrogdm.com and a single PR Newswire announcement, all checked in June 2026.
Per their site, June 2026, Blue Frog is headquartered in Waukee, Iowa and was founded in 2009 by John Campbell. They describe themselves as a “Dynamic Growth Agency” and an Elite HubSpot Solutions Partner, the highest tier HubSpot offers, which they state is held by less than 1% of HubSpot partners worldwide. Their stated service mix, again per their site, June 2026, includes HubSpot platform strategy and onboarding, inbound marketing, content marketing, digital advertising, web design and development, branding, data orchestration, CRM implementation, sales enablement, account-based marketing, and revenue operations. They also state that they are among a small subset of HubSpot partners who have completed every available HubSpot accreditation, and that members of their team have passed the Certified Training Program.
Per a PR Newswire release linked from their own blog, June 2026, Blue Frog was acquired by Avidly, an international growth design company they describe as a multi-time HubSpot Global Partner of the Year. That is not a small operation buying a smaller one. That is a serious HubSpot ecosystem story, and it tells you exactly who Blue Frog is built for: companies that have decided HubSpot is the center of their stack and want a partner with the platform credentials to match.
What their site does not include, per bluefrogdm.com, June 2026, is any published pricing. No starting retainer, no rate card, no project minimum, no transparent tier breakdown. Third-party agency directories I checked also list their pricing as undisclosed. To learn what they cost, you fill out a form, book a discovery call, and wait for a custom quote. That is a normal model for HubSpot Elite Partners, and it is not a knock on them. It is just a different model from mine.
What I actually am, in the same format
The same level of honesty in the other direction. I am Mandeep Singh, founder of Sprout Sage Solutions. I have been doing SEO and content work professionally since 2017, which is 9 years as of this page. I work alone, by design, which is why senior work costs $1,500 a month flat on this site instead of an agency retainer.
My public proof, all checkable on third-party platforms before you ever email me: 37 five-star reviews on Upwork, Top Rated Plus status (an Upwork-verified tier), a 97% Job Success Score across 222 completed jobs. None of those are claims I could fabricate, because Upwork computes them from real client work. The price is published on my pricing page, not gated behind a form. The reviews live on my reviews page and on Upwork itself.
What I am not: I am not a HubSpot Elite Solutions Partner. I am not certified to deliver HubSpot platform implementations, full RevOps tooling alignment, or Service Hub strategy. I am not a 30-person agency with an office, an account-management layer, or a sales team. I do not have a Global Partner of the Year backer. If those are the things that matter to your decision, the rest of this page will not convince you, and it should not.
The honest price comparison
I will not invent a Blue Frog number, because they do not publish one. What I can do is put the published, verified side of the comparison next to what HubSpot Elite Partner retainers tend to cost in the wider market (est., not a Blue Frog claim), so you can run the math against your own budget.
| What | My published number | Blue Frog, per their site, June 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly SEO retainer | $1,500/mo flat, no contract | Not published; quote on request |
| Website build | From $500 one-time | Not published; quote on request |
| Single landing page | From $300 one-time | Not published; quote on request |
| Setup or onboarding fee | None | Not published |
| Contract length | Month-to-month, cancel anytime | Not published |
| Platform license bundled | None required | Typically HubSpot, license separate (est.) |
| Senior person who does the work | Me, the founder, on every account | Not specified per their site |
The point of this table is not to dunk on Blue Frog for keeping prices private. Elite-partner agencies almost always quote bespoke because their scope is bespoke, and that is defensible. The point is: if your job is solid SEO and content work and not a HubSpot platform overhaul, you should not have to fill out a discovery form to find out it costs roughly the wrong amount for what you actually need. My number is on the page. Read it, sleep on it, and email me only if it fits.
Per published industry benchmarks I have read over the years, mid-market SEO retainers in the United States commonly run several thousand dollars a month at the floor, with full-service inbound or HubSpot retainers higher (est.). Blue Frog does not publish a number, per their site, June 2026, so I will not put one in their mouth. What I will say is: every owner who has ever come to me from one of those retainers has been surprised that senior, hands-on work can be done for $1,500 a month flat. The reason it can is that I do not run an agency.
Want the full pricing logic, including why I publish numbers when most agencies do not, the breakdown is on my pricing page. If you want to see how the same comparison runs against the loudest name in the category, my cheaper than Neil Patel Digital writeup is the companion to this one.
When Blue Frog is the right call
This is the section most comparison pages skip, and the one I think you actually need. There are real situations where hiring Blue Frog is the right move and hiring me would be a miscast. Here are the ones I see most clearly, all framed against what Blue Frog says about themselves per their site, June 2026.
If HubSpot is the center of your stack and you need a full implementation. Standing up Sales Hub, Marketing Hub, and Service Hub from scratch, migrating from Salesforce or another CRM, building lifecycle stage logic, wiring custom objects, configuring sequences and workflows at scale, that is the job an Elite HubSpot Solutions Partner is uniquely set up for. Per their site, June 2026, Blue Frog has completed every HubSpot accreditation and has team members through HubSpot’s Certified Training Program. I have not, and I will tell you so on the call. For this scope, hire them.
If you need accredited HubSpot training for an internal team. Some Blue Frog team members have passed HubSpot’s Certified Training Program (per their site, June 2026), which matters if you are a larger company that wants formal training engagements with documented certifications. That is not what I sell. If your buyer is an enablement leader who needs that paper trail, Blue Frog fits the box. I do not.
If you are a mid-market or enterprise company buying on procurement, not founder gut. Vendor approval at companies of a certain size requires logos, partnership tiers, case studies bundled with deck templates, and an account management layer that can handle quarterly business reviews. A founder-led one-person operation, no matter how good the work, does not survive procurement at that size. Blue Frog, with Avidly behind them per their press release, June 2026, is set up for that buyer. I am explicitly not.
If revenue operations alignment is the actual problem. When the real bottleneck is sales and marketing not handing off cleanly, attribution being broken, or a CRM that nobody trusts the data in, more SEO content will not fix it. Blue Frog lists RevOps as a service per their site, June 2026, and an Elite HubSpot partner is genuinely the right shape of vendor for that work. I am an SEO and content person. I will refer that work out rather than fake it.
If any of those four describe your situation, close this tab and go book Blue Frog’s discovery call. I would rather lose your inquiry than take a job I am not the right fit for, because the only thing worse than not getting hired is getting hired and producing mediocre work for an owner who needed a different shape of vendor.
When I am the right call
The flip side, equally honest. Here is where I genuinely beat Blue Frog or any Elite-partner agency, not on credentials, but on fit and economics.
You want senior work for a published, predictable number. $1,500 a month, every month, the same regardless of metro or vertical. No setup fee, no platform bundle, no scope creep negotiation. You can put it in a budget today, the same way you would a SaaS line item, and it stops the day you decide it should.
You want the person doing the work to also be the person on the call. Every account I run, I run personally. The strategy call is me. The content edits are me. The technical SEO fixes are me. There is no junior who got handed your account after the close. There is no account manager translating between you and the people actually executing. The trade-off for that intimacy is honest: I take fewer clients, and I will not take two competing ones in the same metro and vertical.
Your problem is rankings, traffic, and leads, not platform architecture. If what you actually need is technical SEO cleanup, money pages that rank, content that earns clicks, schema and AI citability done correctly, internal linking that compounds, and Google Business Profile work for local visibility, that is the entire job description on my desk. You do not need to pay HubSpot Elite tier rates to get that done well. You need someone who has been doing it for 9 years and can prove it.
You are tired of quote forms and discovery calls before learning the number. Plenty of owners I talk to have run the gauntlet of three or four agency discovery calls, polite NDAs, and proposal decks before learning that the floor was twice their budget. My price is on the pricing page. The audit is free, 30 minutes, no slide deck. If we are not a fit you leave the call with a list of fixes you can do yourself.
You want public proof, not a logo wall. A logo wall tells you who paid the invoice. It does not tell you whether the work was any good. Upwork’s review system, where 37 of my clients have left five-star reviews, where my Job Success Score is computed from outcomes not opinions, and where Top Rated Plus is gated on sustained performance, tells you something a slide cannot. Go read the reviews before booking anything.
The pricing side-by-side, including what I will not pretend to know

Blue Frog, per their site, June 2026, publishes none of the equivalent numbers. That is not a criticism, it is a fact. To compare apples to apples you would need to book their discovery call, share your situation, and get a custom quote back. If you want to do that, I think it is a fair use of an hour, especially if HubSpot platform work is what you actually need.
Honest benchmarks for what each path tends to look like
Estimates only, drawn from 9 years of doing this work and the published positioning each shop has chosen to put on its site. Nobody can promise outcomes, and any vendor who promises a ranking is lying to you.
| Decision factor | The Blue Frog shape (per their site, June 2026) | The Sprout Sage shape |
|---|---|---|
| Best-fit buyer | Mid-market companies committed to HubSpot | Founder-led SMBs and operators |
| Pricing model | Custom quote, not published | Flat, published, no contract |
| Core platform | HubSpot ecosystem (Elite Partner) | Platform-agnostic; works with whatever you run |
| Team shape | Multi-person agency (acquired by Avidly) | One senior person, the founder |
| Procurement fit | Strong; logos, accreditations, tier | Weak by design; not for enterprise procurement |
| Ramp time | Onboarding-led; longer for full HubSpot scope (est.) | Start the audit this week, content live within weeks |
| Cancellation | Per their contract; not published | Any month, no penalty, you keep everything |
Who I am NOT for on this comparison
I turn down a meaningful share of inquiries, and a comparison page is the right place to draw the line clearly. If you are running a HubSpot implementation or migration as the core project, I am not your vendor; Blue Frog or another Elite Partner is. If you need vendor approval through enterprise procurement, my one-person shop will not clear it, and I will say so on the first call rather than waste your time. If you want a guaranteed ranking by a specific date, nobody who has actually done this work for 9 years will give you one, and the ones who do are selling something that will hurt you. If your honest problem is sales and marketing operations alignment, more SEO content will not fix it, and I will tell you that too.
Telling owners they need a different shape of vendor than the one I sell has cost me real revenue over 9 years. It is also why 37 of the clients I did take on left five-star Upwork reviews, and why my Job Success Score across 222 jobs is 97%.
Frequently asked questions: cheaper than Blue Frog
Are you actually cheaper than Blue Frog?
Almost certainly yes, though Blue Frog publishes no pricing per their site, June 2026. My SEO retainer is $1,500 a month flat, published openly, no contract. Elite HubSpot Partner retainers in their category typically clear several thousand a month at the floor (est.). Websites start at $500, landing pages at $300.
Who is Blue Frog?
Per bluefrogdm.com, June 2026, Blue Frog is a Waukee, Iowa agency founded in 2009, an Elite HubSpot Solutions Partner, and recently acquired by Avidly, a multi-time HubSpot Global Partner of the Year. Services include HubSpot platform work, inbound marketing, content, web design, ABM, RevOps, and sales enablement.
When should I hire Blue Frog instead of you?
If HubSpot is the center of your stack and you need full platform implementation, onboarding, certified training, or RevOps alignment between Sales, Marketing, and Service Hubs, an Elite HubSpot Partner is the correct shape of vendor. Per their site, June 2026, Blue Frog has completed every available HubSpot accreditation.
When are you the better fit?
If you want senior SEO, content, and on-page work done by one person at a flat, published $1,500 a month with no contract, no platform lock-in, and no quote-form gauntlet, that is exactly what I built. I work directly with founders. No junior handoff, no account management layer.
What does Blue Frog charge per month?
I will not invent a number. Per their site, June 2026, Blue Frog does not publish pricing. Third-party agency directories also list it as undisclosed. To get a quote you book their discovery call. My number, by contrast, is on the pricing page.
Do you do HubSpot at all?
I will work alongside an existing HubSpot setup for SEO, on-page work, and content, and integrate with whatever CRM and email stack you already run. I will not pretend to deliver a full HubSpot Sales plus Marketing plus Service Hub implementation, because I am not certified for that.
What do I get for $1,500 a month?
Technical SEO, on-page optimization, monthly content I write or edit, internal linking, schema and AI citability, monthly reporting on real queries and clicks, and a monthly call with me directly. No account manager. No junior layer.
Why is your price so much lower?
I do not run an agency. No office, no sales team, no margin for shareholders. One senior person, capped client load, work done directly. That structure is the reason the published number can be $1,500 a month while the same scope costs more elsewhere (est.).
What is the catch?
Two honest catches. My client load is capped, so sometimes there is a short wait. And I will not take two directly competing clients in the same metro and vertical. Beyond that, no contract, no setup fee, no platform bundling, no surprises.
Do I keep everything if I cancel?
Yes. The pages, the schema, the internal links, the Google Business Profile improvements, and the content all live on your domain and accounts from day one. You can cancel any month and lose nothing I built.
Are you as established as Blue Frog?
No. Blue Frog has been operating since 2009 per their site, June 2026, and now sits behind Avidly. I have been doing this work since 2017, 9 years, with public proof on Upwork: 37 five-star reviews, Top Rated Plus, 97% Job Success Score, 222 completed jobs.
What is the free audit?
A free 30-minute call where I pull up your site and Google Business Profile live, run a real review of your indexed pages and ranking queries, and tell you exactly what is costing you traffic and leads, whether or not you hire me. No deck, no pressure, no obligation.
Book your free 30-minute audit
Tell me your company name, what you currently spend on marketing, and what is not working. I will look at your site and your Google Business Profile live, run an honest read of your indexed pages and the queries you are actually ranking for, and tell you on the call whether I am the right fit or whether Blue Frog or someone else would serve you better. No pitch deck, no contract, no obligation either way, and the audit costs nothing.
